Casey Halferty

Outreach, Domestic Violence PROGRAM & Volunteer Manager

A native Upstate New Yorker, Casey received her BA in Health and Human Services, with a minor in Sociology, from the University at Buffalo. After graduating, she was a victim advocate at a Non-Profit Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault agency in New York before moving to North Carolina to pursue warmer weather. At Friend to Friend, Casey is the Outreach, Domestic Violence Program, and Voluneteer Manager. In this role, Casey coordinates all Friend to Friend volunteers, gives community education presentations, represents the agency at numerous events/trainings, and provides transportation to Serenity House clients. Casey is an outdoors enthusiast, and always encourages Friend to Friend's clients to appreciate the fresh air and the sun on their faces. Casey is passionate about raising awareness about domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking in our community. Casey is also a co-chair of the Moore County Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Task Forces.
