Domestic Violence

Friend to Friend is a leader in domestic violence intervention and recovery. We provide a comprehensive array of results-based services to the victims of Domestic Violence.

Domestic Violence occurs in many ways. Although most often associated with physical harm, domestic violence also includes sexual, psychological, or economic abuse.

Abuse can happen to anyone, regardless of race, income, education, gender, sexual orientation, age, or religion. If you are worried that you or a loved one might be involved in an abusive relationship, our resources can help you.

Any attempt to control the behavior and/or emotions of an intimate partner and diminish or prevent his/her free choice can constitute domestic abuse. Victims do not cause the abuse, and nothing a victim says or does can excuse the abuse. Abusers bear sole responsibility for their actions.  If you have questions or want to talk with someone about what you are experiencing, the Friend to Friend Crisis Help Line is here to help you. You can talk with a trained advocate 24/7.
